This is a painting I did for dad’s birthday.
I had done a smaller (card-size) version a while back just to play with the idea and dad fell in love with it, so I surprised him with a larger version.
I was attempting to create this when I was called in to paint some sets for a local production. So I ended up painting sets for hours and trying to discretely paint this late into the night. Busy, busy. But I got it done! And dad likes it a lot. As with any watercolor painting, it looks much better in person, but you get the idea. It was lots of fun to work on.
